My husband and I have managed Kansas City’s Premier Childproofing Service for several years and my husband has also owned a Handyman Service for over eight years. Through the past few years we have often felt the need to combine the two businesses to better define the services we actually do provide. In January, 2007 we made that happen. We merged the two companies and incorporated under the name of Home safety, Inc.
Home Safety, Inc., still provides the best childproofing services you can find in Kansas City because we are certified child safety consultants. What that means to you is that we can educate you as parents on the hidden dangers in your homes by walking through your home and looking at it objectively. I will do a thorough room-by-room evaluation of your home. I will then provide you with a detailed cost estimate of the products and services to properly secure you home.
Home Safety, Inc., uses only name brand products like Kidco, Cardinal, Evenflo, Safety 1st, Mommy’s Helper, etc. These products have all been approved by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association. Your products will be professionally installed by my husband who has also been trained in child safety. If you are a member of a mom’s group, parenting organization, parents of multiples, dad’s group, young unwed mothers, or any other group that would like me to come and visit with your organization about safety in the home, some of the services we provide and some of the products we carry, please call me. I will be happy to set something up with your organization.
We are is committed to making homes safer for the whole family by providing high quality services to meet all age groups from babies to elders. We have also added a new service for seniors and their caregivers. This service can include all the basic household safety measures for example: hand rails, grab bars, hand held showers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, etc., to actually installing the same locks used on cabinets and drawers for childproofing in some special circumstances where Alzheimer’s patients may live. We will be adding more eldercare services as time allows.
